A few Scots did well at this event. Amy Byrne and Marion Keatings were second and third in A, while Anne Steward was third in B.

Several Scots attended this new event, and the most successful was Marion Keatings, who won the B Division.

A small field of twenty contested the Scottish Regional of the NSC(T). Simon Gillam was the runaway individual winner with 7 out of 7, and the other individual qualifiers were Allan Simmons, Moya Dewar, Colin Nicol and Amy Byrne. They will go on to the semi-final in Birmingham on 13 and 14 September. Simon is shown below being congratulated by organiser Ross Mackenzie.



The team event was won by Edinburgh Blank (Simon, Colin and Melanie Beaumont), who will play in the final in Bradford on 27 September.

Some of the locals did very well at this event. Helen Gipson and Allan Simmons were second and third in the A Division, which was won by Mikki Nicholson. Helga Farrow won the C Division convincingly and Margaret Harkness was third.
